Aube Na Bing: A Pictorial History of Michigan Indians

Aube Na Bing is an Ojibwe word meaning “looking back.”  It seemed a fitting title for this book.  Filled with black and white photos of Ojibwe, Potawatomi, and Ottawa from 1865 to 1988, this book gives a glimpse into the everyday lives of Native Americans who have called Michigan home.  With legends by Simon Otto.
